No inventory ps5 controller button?

Right from the start it ask to open the inventory and doesnt show which controller button to press. Whichever I use I can't access inventory without using the I on the keyboard. With ps5 controller.

I just tried with a 8bitdo controller and pressing select works. Why my Ps5 controller can't access inventory?

The large button opens the character menu and thus also the inventory. This is also stated in the settings under Controller Assignment.

It does not work for me. When i press the big pad button it opens the menu like when you press start to quit the game.

For me, it works with the big button. Check the options to see if it's accidentally assigned to something else. Maybe try resetting the controller settings or having Steam check the game for errors. If that doesn't help, it might be a bug on your end.
