They also provided Tainted Grail: Conquest with Soundtracks. They are all great for the Setting :D
How about another Danheim song with a similar beat:

While I love Danheim, it's a bit weird choice to include a song about Nordic mythology in Athurian legends. Unless there are some nordic themes in the game I might've missed?

I think it's more the pagan/folk bent the game has. But it'd be interesting to hear some Faun tracks in the game or an Eluveitie track for a boss.

Otherwise Heilung, Skald, and Wardruna (and others) are definitely more Norse/Nordic influenced.

It also plays when in extended combat. Turn up the volume, you'll hear it.

That's what I was thinking. It's great to have Danheim for the music soundtrack, but I'd expect to have songs about game's lore and the setting, not about different mythology.

Yeah, well they'll need to contract Eluveitie or Faun for that. :)

Danheim also did the music in tainted grail conquest (the first game).

The general lore of tainted grail is a take around the primitive roots of the arthurian legends. a celtic warrior (maybe with roman influence) against the saxon tribes invading england.

Now saxons were germanic. And Old germanic folklore is closely related to nordic folklore.
I mean, the days of the week in english are named after "nordic gods" (tuesday is tyr's day, wednesday is odin's day, thursday is thor's day, friday is frigg's day), which are not just nordic, they are also germanic gods, because nordic tribes originate from germanic tribes.

So considering this, the music is actually very much on point if we keep in mind that saxons were germanic pagans.

It's also just possible that the devs are fans of Danheim, and maybe they got a good deal on using his music. As for whether it "fits", that's different for everyone.
