Updated and started the game and then threw it out again straight away. Then my virus detector says that I have a Trojan and it was deleted. Started the game again and Steam says that the .exe file is missing. Tried to repair and my virus detector says trojan again. The name is Bearfoos.Alml. My Virus detector deleted this Trojan

I have the game on GOG, when is 0.9 dropping there?

completed the questline for captain to return but got black screen music was playing but could not see even the menu when pressing esc so had to close.

Died in the asylum, click load last save and the game stops responding. It happened the 2 times i died.

remember to f5 often if you have crashes

i know but even if a try to load a previous save the game it freezes, at the loading screen. Closing the game and loading the save works fine

there's also a setting to decrease cpu affinity you could try. but that's a shot in the dark

having a strange one where it will crash to desktop from exiting a shrine

The game does like it did a while back with the tree loading screen endless loop. Now it does with the pile of bodies. Loading screen just loops endlessly until I close the game.
