I'm currently running on RX 9070 XT and with this game the gpu is going insane with temps. FPS is also pretty low for such graphics and ugly character models. I don't have such issues with Monster Hunter Wilds and that game is a hot mess.

I just cleared the 2 mini bosses before I met him. Now I can't proceed.
Additionally, I'm getting a lot of visual glitches - moving characters turned into blurry figures, and are trailing artifacts.
Other than that, I like the additions to the prologue, I found frantic berserker and raging fire guy, not sure if they were added recently or I just missed them before. Game has good potential.
Also, would love the possibility to tweak day and night cycle (together or each differently) versus real time.
It's gonna happened again on launch (1.0) so if it's a deal breaker for you, you might want to wait till then. I know I won't.
And also, The menu music is absolutely FIRE!!! i listen to nordic music everyday so this made me happy :) In game music is so good as well!
AMD cards kinda need some tinkering on their settings so you dont "cook" your GPU. Been using them by ages and nowadays i have a older rig with a 6700 and the newer rig with a 7800XT. Your GPU in Wilds isnt going hot probably due frame gen (it also happens to both of my cards). This game is on Unity Engine and this engine is a 304 to deal with AMD so i can recomend a UC profile and it will help you tremendously with temps. Godspeed.
I don't use frame gen in Wilds and I did some testing in other games after I got 9070. Everything was fine. The issue is with Avalon.
I have lowered my CPU Utilisation from 24 to 7.1 (on your recommendation) and have stopped crashing after death and during respawn, or just random gameplay crashes - thanks!
2 Performance:
Better than it was in 0.7, but still dropping some frame rates especially on Autosave.
3 Gameplay:
The balancing of the game especially at the beginning in Normal mode has changed to be more challenging than it used to be in 0.7 and lower. The damage you do vs you take against mobs is skewed in favour of the mobs. The time to outgrow this is long. Perhaps the new mechanics/settings need more time with the players to figure out "easier" leveling/equipment crafting and improvement to close the gap at the start... What I did like is the balance of food crafting to maintain the heals during those early levels. I am not suggesting you change anything, rather I think that players need more time to figure it out. It's not broken, but it is challenging.
4 Overall:
My experience with the game seems to be improving especially since March 25/26 Update. More fun, less frustration.
