How do maps work?
Are they tied to "Acts" or can we freely switch between maps? I'm assuming it's not one huge map like Skryim..?

Essentially, yes.

We dont really know if you are gonna be able to freely go between the maps or if act2 map only unlocks when you reach the second act. But for now you can freely travel between them.
