Black screen in act 2

Got a big problem in the act 2 town. As soon as I get to close to a group of people my screen turns black. I can move, attack, walk and open inventory, but everything is black. Also the sound of a quest is played. Any ideas ?

I found a way around. Solve the problem.

I dont know how OP solved this problem, but I solved it this way:
I used quicksave quickload buttons while been in black screen. When it loaded - it was fine

I forgot to answer, I'm sorry.

I just pulled out my sword when my game went black and started swinging wildly. I hit the guard and got sent to jail for it. After that everything was fine and I was able to continue the quest xD
