I automatically die after killing Galahad.

I have killed him 6 times so far and am able to oneshot him with my bow, without him damaging me, but immediately after I kill him I also die. Has anyone else experienced this bug?

Happens to me too :( I kill him in one shot with my bow. Is it really a bug or did i miss something ?

Had to nail him 3 times with a bow and the encounter went fine. I wonde rif the one shot is creating a bug. He killed me 50 times before I decided to snipe him before the conversation started.

I killed him a few times on the same save (replaying the conversation with him in different ways to see if he can be reasoned with; he can't). I think every time it was a one-shot, because my damage was through the roof as a level 30 stealth archer. No bugs encountered, got to wear his armor and wield his mace (biggest reason to choose the route to kill him; otherwise I would have sided with him, or rather with Kamelot). Best armor in EA hands down, respecced into a heavy melee warrior and owned the rest of the game easily.

His armor is brokenly good.

To look into this further, can you tell us what exactly you did after entering the dungeon? Also, have you tried loading an earlier save?

Same here. I even hit F5 immediately after killing Galahad and that save just has me dying as soon as it loads.
Now this is the weird part. I have "The Strongest Potion" in slot 1. I have "Great Health Potion" in slot 2. I take aim with the Greatbow and Poison arrow (not sure if that is germane) and I drink the Strongest Potion WITHOUT Shooting and Hit C To Cycle to next Potion AND I DIE....WITHOUT even shooting him. I am coming down stairs outside his activation range on his left side. What is this all about??
Also, went back to Longbow still with Poison arrow, Take the Strongest potion, take ONE SHOT and I die. You are penalizing us for using YOUR mechanic simply because we're not doing the scenario the way YOU want it ?
OK, so I changed to the Shadow Blade and Skull Staff, both with Relics, was standing up, not Stealthed, came up on his left, triggered his detection and died before the words were spoken without doing anything.
Tried a frontal with Greatbow outside his detection, took 3 shots, he started running at me and I died before he hit me with anything.
Tried again, this time threw my bird at him, he responded to the bird and stood up and I started shooting and moving in. He hit me twice, I took the Strongest potion while running with NO DOT's and just died again. I give up.
This encounter is majorly bugged and I can't un....k it :(. HELP.
I have killed him 5 times with the bow and yet to live. I can't fight the guy melee as I just die. I've beaten this scenario so how do I get credit?
BTW, I am in LOVE with this game. I'm aggravated and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but not angry. Just need help here.

LATER: Got out of the instance, ran around looting his doods. Saved many times.
Quit the Game, Quit Steam as it was lagging. Restarted,.
Logged in with save from outside, went in, chugged the Strongest and drew the bow, fired and died.
MUCH LATER: Used the PowerBow and shot him with 4-5 Iron Arrows. Done. So not sure if it's the Strongest solution AND the Great Bow or either alone because doing the Corrupted Priestess boss I happened to again have the Great Bow and Strongest in Left Slot and when I hit the solution, I died.

The Strongest Potion gives a pretty OP buff when you consume it, but it comes with a price: you die after a while. That's the solution!

See but that's the point in most of what I wrote. Did you read what I wrote?

I NEVER CONSUMED IT in a lot of deaths. It was merely equipped. DID NOT DRINK.

I got past it and dealt with him. BUT I never drank it most of the time I died.
