Obsidian has done a fine job of that already. I think all we can do as fans is help spread the word of Tainted Grail. People are pissed about Avowed and will be looking for an alternative
There are certain types of games I have no problem playing in EA like roguelikes, aRPGs,...etc but single player action RPGs I would much rather wait for the full experience.
Not only that, but the way Bethesda messed up Starfield bodes ill for TES VI as well. With big studios destroying themselves over ideological agendas, de-politicized and hard-working developers have a unique chance to shine. They need to grab this chance and become the next CDPR.
Honestly, what I've seen from this game so far is quite incredible, it's definitely TES-level material, it has the potential to be an AA game breaking into AAA territory. What they need is to keep going in the same direction, don't allow slip ups in quality, tighten the mechanics, maintain the atmosphere and lore, and they will have a hit possibly turning into a winning franchise like The Witcher.
After Starfield and how uninspired Avowed looks, this game is the only "TES-like" I have seen in recent years that seems like it will fill that void left buy morrowind, oblivion, Skyrim...etc. I'm not even interested in Elder scrolls anymore because of how soulless Starfield ended up being.
This game seems to be a passion project and the more I see of it the more I can't wait for the 1.0 release when its feature complete.
I felt like that after FO4. I hated it with a passion and lost all trust with Bethesda. I ended up buying Starfield but still have yet to play it. I am waiting on the community mods to fix it. It's crazy that mods like FO London, Enderal and Indie games like this are picking up the slack left by AAA devs.
Oh, so this is like a maga cry session. Got it.
