Any aspect of the HUD should be able to toggle on\off, I do not need clocks and compasses.
That is true to real life. The sun and the moon are the same sizes because of the fact of the size of the sun, and the moon distance from the earth.
IMHO, there is currently a disconnect with the lighting of the game... No doubt about that for me when the rising moon (surrounded by fiery orange-red clouds) can be confused with the rising sun. (ーー;)
Maybe it is intentional, to make the world more mysterious?
BUT days in my game (and my settings) are not 'dim' by any means, I think you need to adjust the launcher's screen gamma slider (or whatever the variable it adjusts...). I leave this slider at the first setting when the centre disappears, so centre is not "almost invisible" with background, but when slider makes centre disappear into black.
I also think the day/night cycle should be about 1.5 times longer than the current cycles (in game time seems to go a bit too fast).
