Get some rest

As im about to leave the island, im told to get some rest....how?

Find a sleeping bag in the cave just around the corner and sleep

If not done already (and sounds like you need to buff exploration skills...), walk around the whole explorable area before you get on the boat, it may be bigger than you think, look into corners, go swimming, etc, find hidden areas and stuff.

There is more than one place to sleep...

Adding this with the newest patch- Make sure to use your Q consumable menu, and then right click to access the new "camp fire" to rest. This confused me for well over an hour since i disabled tutorials after already playing a few months ago.

I got stuck on this one too.

I explored the entire area, started a fire, upgraded my skills, then rested until night, then went over and talked to the guy by the boat, and he just told me to "get some rest".

After about 10 tries and resting a total of about 3 days, I finally figured out to not to bother talking to the guy, and to just click on the boat.....

This is probably one of the areas of the game that needs to be tweaked.

Finaly you told me how to friking rest in this game used one hr to find out that lol!

iv slept for 24hrs and he still says get some rest ? iv been to all the ship recks and around the hole island

this is a pretty old thread from an earlier version of the game. in the current version you have to set up a camp - open your weapon wheel and press rmb to place a campfire to rest at.
