Torches are far too bright. (with Screenshots)

Is it just me, or are torches way too bright?
For example at night without a torch:

Same thing for me. I also find it gets exceptionally dark quickly at times

For me torches are fine at night and in caves/interior cells, but the light they put out is what your screenshot shows outside during the day.

well before that torches did no light at all. and for the nights, just bring the brightness to maximux.

The first screenshot was taken two seconds before the one with the torch, it didn't look like daytime to me.
Either way, there's something not quite right with the lighting in this game.

That is beyond doubt, this EA needs a lot of work yet. We must be patient and hope these important aspects of the game like overall lighting are eventually addressed (such things usually towards the end of dev...)

Same problem here too. Even at daytime , i can't see ♥♥♥♥ when walking inside shadows... nearly unplayable now. Before the last update, which destroyed all my savegames, everything was good...

"Destroyed"??? Welcome to early access, there are major changes going on under the hood of this game, new magic systems etc. It is bound to happen, and likely again before full release. Put the game aside if you can't deal with starting over. Many have done just that.
