Weight in demo and in early access version!?
I liked a style of demo and bought it today. Sadly, instantly after i used continue button game surprised me in a bad way.
In demo inventory behaviour was just like in Gothic series, unlimited inventory and i could run same speed whatever i hoarded, just the way I like. No problem all,

After loading in EA, red overweight symbol shining on me from lower part of screen and crabs on beach seems to be faster then me? WTF happened? I dont remember such slow movement even after taking every supid thing from prison and every useless bottle from beach and wrecks and i could still run n jump like a ninja. Unlimited weightless inventory was one of the main reasons why i bought that.

Now Im feeling llttle tricked.

The production team has anticipated this issue, so they have added an increase in weight in the skill enhancement option. You can activate the subsequent increase in weight limit by adding 1 physical damage in the strength skill. By filling up the weight limit increase, you can obtain a maximum of 60% increase in weight limit. You can also increase the weight limit by adding endurance and strength attribute points, or complete the task in the first act of the game - Strong Hate, to obtain items that permanently increase the weight limit. In the game, you can also pick up accessories that increase the weight limit. I believe the above answers can help you dispel any misunderstandings about the game. Moreover, picking up everything in the early stages can easily lead to overweight. When you store a large number of items that don't need to be carried with you in the storage area, it becomes much easier.
OK, thanks for info. I wasnt sure if im crazy.

Devs should at least update machanics of that damn demo, this is not alright, especialy if thier game is participating in some kind of steam sales like this one!

Im not happy with sudden weight limitation. Some people shoult take this as a reason for getting their money back.

I agree with your opinion. This new mechanism should indeed be updated in the announcement.

Im pretty sure the demo also contains that mechanic, but i think, there’s just not enough loot for you to pass the weight theshold to become overencumbered.

I don't think the weight mechanic is in the demo. I just finished it a couple days ago and remember picking up basically everything with no penalties.

As I said.
I finished demo few days back, I could run n jump with no limits in the end on a beach,
With EA version I automaticaly choose contine which used my save from demo right before my rest in front of boat. So I had all stuff and stats i took in demo, but with weight penalty this time. This demo had no weigh limit or its set much much higher than current EA version.

In both cases EA significantly changed the gameplay. Evil tongues could easily say that the demo was just false advertising.

You can put all the crafting items in the stash and it will use them/pull them when you are crafting at a station. Once I did that, it freed up a ton of inventory weight for me.
