Definitely hoard unidentified items and webs.

Initially i wasnt really bothering with it because most were ingredients and random weapon oils and such.

But in the second region there's just so many enemies and a lot of wyrd themed mobs at night.

ANYWAY, reason: one of my random identified items was a permanent +5 mana, i can only assume this is a rare chance drop, and possibly the other permanent stat consumables are in the loot pool, so.....farm at night.

Honestly, I don't think it is worth the weight and wyrd cost to play loot box with the unidentified items. It feels like a completely uneeded time sink when they'd be better of being identified for free since wyrd is spent just to upgrade the fire in the first place.

the web cost to ID items it way to high for how many you get. Its 10 webs each, monsters drop like 10-16 web for me but drop like 2-6 ??? items so the ratio is terrible, I have been using the webs mainly as a source of money at this point.

Both of you are fools. I got permanent plus 20 mana in the past 2hrs and im sitting on 300+ webs above constantly identifying 30+ items every hour or so.

Not to mention a few jewelry which give crazy stats i havnt seen drop from anything else.

As for gold, you know you can just mine iron and chop wood and craft vast amounts of iron arrows and sell them right, not that i need to, i been above 10k since lv15, and im nearly lv40. Only time i ever spend gold is to buy potion ingredients, permanent stat consumables and spells.

Also 1 skill point = 20 weight on the strength tree, that and a little bit of endurance attribute for 7 health and 10 weight per point, my current max weight is 255.

I just started playing this. How do you use webs to identify unidentifiable objects? I am near a fire at night but I don't see how I use the webs.

Note where any human soldiers, peasants, knights are encamped, sleep in a bed till 9pm, fight them at night, get webs and mass collect all unidentified items

It's always a 25 web investment to turn the basic campfire into an improved one that creates a barrier against the wyrd allowing you to sleep at night, it also lets you pray for 10 web, but i have no idea what that actually does.

Once you pay 25 at a campfire, then you can start identifying at 10 web per item.

I created a stealth archer alt, and i been farming at night, archer is significantly easier then mage, im one shotting most mobs from stealth 40+ meters away, makes farming at night even easier.

I get way more unidentified items than webs. There's no way I can possibly identify everything. The web cost feels way too high. Something that I think would work a lot better is to only charge a web cost up-front to charge the fire, and then simply allow you to identify all of your items without further cost. Reduce the overall drop rate of the webs to compensate. I think that would be way more fun and much less of a hassle.

The stash is infinite, you can just stash unidentified items, to reduce that weight.
Just keep doing it, trust me it's worth it, eventually your gonna have over 1000 health, mana and stamina and maybe even push your armor to broken limits.

Not to mention all the strange jewelry with buffs you never seen with +2s and such.

I just stash excess unidentified's and farm at night, but during the day theres a good path through the swamp up to the wyrd tower in act 2 where you can kill quite a few poison knights, and then go throught the northern fields to kill the wyrd peasants. All of which drop web regardless of it being daytime.
