I play on a 7200 rpm hard drive, and the loading time to load the horns outdoor zone takes SOOOO LONG!

I probably have to wait around a minute or so on the loading screen for that map. The other maps load much faster. As far as I know, the actual gameplay itself isn't affected by the speed. It's only when I load something.

why on earth, heaven and hell would you not have an SSD in 2023?
SSD is a must and preferebly 7000 Write / read

If the game supported DirectStorage it would be pretty much instant loading for an SSD and even HDD would benefit from it. Wonder how hard it is to implement such a feature, considering you only need the latest win10 at least to get a benefit from it, nvme is just an extra major boost.

Price.

My HDD is 4 TB. Find me a SSD that large under 100 dollars.

Go check one out, you can get 'em pretty cheaply nowadays. https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/

I use a Kingston Nvme 4TB (800 eur) for games, Samsung 250GB SSD for windows, and WD Gold 10TB 7200rpm (cost ~450 eur years ago) for other stuff.

You can get a 8TB SSD for less than 500 eur at the moment. MZ-77Q8T0BW Samsung 870 QVO 8TB

You install the SSD the same way as a newest sata drives (HDD's), the same data cable and power cable. You just have to account that you need a 2.5" drive space, I don't have one, so it's just on the bottom, considering it doesn't have moving parts it doesn't matter if it's loose or not, that is if your case isn't moving around itself.

Mind that there are other types of SSD too, one that are nvme, that you slide in sideways flat side vertically and then screw it to keep it in place. Dunno about the rest, as I haven't used any of 'em.

Think you have 1.8" and 2.5" sata SSD (different power cable, but same data cable, though the power cable 2.5" is the same as the one on HDD's)
Then you have M.2 and MSata and M.2 Nvme SSDs. (the numbers behind them are how long they are, 30, 42, 60, 80, or 110mm)

"The NVMe interface only uses PCIe ports.
SAS uses M.2, U.2, mSATA, SATA, SAS, PCI-E, SATA express, and IDE ports.
SATA uses SATA, U.2, and M.2 ports."
