All map progress reset?
I reloaded a save after I wanted to try and have a different quest outcome (cleansing the Cromlech) and I had absolutely no location or fast travel nodes on my map. I have been walking around re-collecting them and have been gaining experience for each one all over again.

Also, all changes due quests/events that would manipulate the map, textures, or gamestate are all reset - e.g. the gate to the keep is closed, but I can't talk to the NPC again to get him to open it.

was the save originally on version 0.5a and the issue happened on version 0.5b? the devs did warn that game saves may not be compatible during early access when a new version gets released.
0.5b was the most recent save and it happened on 0.5b
My bug reporting feature has failed and I can confirm this happened to me mid game - not due to patches. I went into a dungeon, came out - all map markers and fast travel gone. All doors are locked. And my game has been softlocked now.

It is not a save issue. Certain rooms and room cells will cause a full world reset if you leave them. Which is... Really not good, and a pretty bad bug.
I had this issue a few days ago before the latest patch. I see they didn't fix it...
Happened to me after I left the tomb in the sunken village. Can confirm it happens every time you leave the dungeon.
can confirm this is still happening on the most recent patch, tried to do the mistbearer quest and lost all map progress, keep gate shut etc. Hard locked now in quests as cant complete 4 quests to get into all mother temple. Putting this game on the shelf for now till a patch is released to stop this happening. Frustrating too because this game has potential
This happened to me as well I had to reload an earlier save lost about two hours of gameplay
Same to me. After exiting the dungeon near the Sunken City.
Additional information to those that care. The bug always happens as you ENTER an interior cell via loading screen. But you won't notice till you exit back out into the open world, upon which you will most likely hear the notification sound of discovering that location again.
Seems like they fixed this bug in 0.5d

Unfortunately not. I had it happen on the 14th, a day after 0.5d came out on the 13th.
This happened to me as well, I had just finished with the Mistbearer fight I believe and upon returning to world map, everything was reset. The locked gate at the main town is SUPER frustrating.
Update as of April 27th hotfix 0.5e.
"Fixed missing map markers after entering a dungeon."
Issue tested. Issue still present. Fix unsuccessful.
Didn't they say they fixed it in 0.5d as well? I guess it's hard to nail down.

Same problem for me. I entered a dungeon (near the Andraste boat) and when I exited, the map was reseted.
