I'm so confused.

I detoxified the air on day 15, i'm currently on day 24 and i cant do anything or find anything to get fresh water. I can't terraform anything, there doesn't seem to be anything I can buy or make. I'm roadblocked and I cant find anything online to get fresh water or de-ice the planet.

Why does this feel like trying to do anything in this game is like pulling hens teeth.

It's annoying because I like this game and I really want it to be good.

At some point you'll get a message from the alien terminal to come see it.

Apparently, the terraforming is all controlled by the alien. You need to trigger certain events, or reach a certain day on the calendar to get a message from the alien to come see it. Just be patient and work on your garden, mining and cooking.

Yes, I have received a message from alien, click on it and proceed. I spent a lot of days on waiting that something happened, but than I find the relative message in my task's

The ice crystals around the map give you water when you use the mining laser on them.

I realised the last time I played, there was more info on the calendar, of things that will happen. In between times, you just keep farming, exploring, etc. There's no need to rush through everything, it won't make things go faster.
