Fresh Water

I read that on day 16 you get green land and fresh water running. I am on day 30 and i dont have any of that, what am i missing?

Not sure when but you should get an mail from the alien asking you to return to the terminal and you can start terraforming the planet which should melt the ice.

I don't know either but wanted to say, I'm in a similar position. I'm on day 24 and no sign of any mail from the alien. It would be nice to know how to trigger that. I have so many other things working, but no water or further terraforming than just breathable air.

Edited: Spoke too soon! I got the summons to return to the alien terminal the very next day (day 25 for me). This came the day after I filled the first order in the community box. Perhaps that is the trigger for the water terraforming event?

Its not related to a specific number of days, its related to story progression, it will come once you advance far enough in the game

I'm stuck here, too. I also don't know anything about a Community Box. How do I get that? Or what else can I do to progress the story? I'm getting frustrated with nothing to do to move things along.
