Character Customization? LGBT Romance Options?

I think Stardew really set a good precedent for both of those! I'm hoping there's a lot to work with in this, too. I hope for a large variety of romance options so that my personalized character can feel at home under alien fruit trees.

I hope so too! Character Customization always makes or breaks it for me in those first couple hours of play. If I hate how I look, I can't keep playing.

+1 character customisation. Queer romance options would also be fantastic but character customisation is the difference between me buying the game or not.

Hi everyone! For romance options, you can love whoever you want! No gender barriers here! There's going to be at least 12 romanceable characters, but we hope to be able to add more!
As for character customization, this will very much be an option as well! At minimum skin/eye/hair/clothing color along with hair style, Male/Female body types, and possibly clothing style!

Would you be able to make an option so that we can rename the romanceable characters? I think that would be a great feature.

This will likely be removed (perhaps not now that I've mentioned it). I had a similar tongue-in-cheek comment quietly removed from this thread - not accusing anybody, could have been some activist community mod.

In any case, the level of crazy can always go up. For instance, some might call the dev's reference to "Male/Female body types"... 'problematic'
