rooms / walls underground .. drones won't build them
i built a room to build more cpu, and now drones won't build any other walls underground. they bring the materials, but none of the 50 idle drones care to start building. silly bug.

I have similar issues, but please verify that the resources are in place. A single square in a room needs two components - one Smart Concrete and one Steel Ingot. If both are not there, then they cannot construct. Check if your short in one or the other. I suspect that's what's going on in my play-through. The Drones have brought one of the resources over, but not the other. Every now-and-then, a Drone shows up and start building the square. I suspect that Drone brought the missing component and was immediately assigned to construct the space. Due to my shortage of Smart Concrete (which is what I suspect I'm short on), it's taking FOREVER to build the Room. I want it up so that I may move on to other things and not drain my available resources so heavily. I'm actually in the middle of upgrading from Single Resource Refineries to Multi-Resource Refineries, which is MUCH more efficient, but the shortage of Steel Ingots (which I think I've addressed) and Smart Concrete (much more complex to address) is slowing me down...

i was maintaining 2500 of each item of the first tier, all construction blocks had both required items for the initial room. 60 idle drones that could construct sitting around. so i started 3 different buildings to see if the issue was consistent. all 3 rooms fail to get built.

How many high priority's do your drones have?

i had visited priority on every building. no matter i figured it out. for some reason, i needed more metal bars despite having 2500. checked all storage/building input/output perms, pick up was enabled. at around 4k metal bars the rooms underground began being built.

Yes, i have the same problem, please change priority drone. They bring material in the storage, i've change load and unload on storage, but it's the same. Bug?

Out of curiosity: Why would that matter in this case? Is there a known bug with priorities?

Not so much a known bug with Priorities, but if too many buildings/tasks are set to high priority, the system cannot assign Drones to do non-priority tasks. My recommendation would be to reset EVERYTHING to default priority, and then ONLY select those things that REALLY HAVE TO BE a priority to high. I had to do that myself. I ended up resetting everything, then made some specific decisions. Considering how important Power is, I set my Batteries and Solar Arrays to High Priority to make certain they got addressed ASAP. As I had too many construction tasks set to high priority, they got reset to normal priority, which meant the High Priority tasks got addressed first, and then the Drones could move on to other things. Also check your various buildings. Are Drone Inputs or Output closed when they need to be opened or vice versa? Is the correct Regolith being shipped to the correct Regolith processor with the correct Ores being sent on to the correct Smelter? Just pause the game and do a complete review of your whole setup to make certain things get done properly. If EVERYTHING is set to high priority, nothing gets done...
How would priority setting matter, if he has 50 drones IDLE (so they are done with all high - med - low priorities) tho?

That was the symptom I ran across. Despite having enough resources and tasks, the Drones sat Idle. It remained that way until I went through all my tasks and buildings, set EVERYTHING back to normal priority, and ONLY turned on necessary High Priority for things that needed to get done NOW. Then the Drones stopped being Idle and got to work. It took about 30 seconds for the system behind the scenes to start responding properly, but, once it rejiggered the task list, they did get back to work and even normal priority tasks started to get processed... The WHY of it, I do not know. I just know it worked.

Sounds like the priority logic doesn't have preventative mechanism to avoid race conditions. The raced priorities never resolved so nothing ends up on the top of the task stack.
