No titanium ????!!!!!
Just started a new game in sandbox mode and after completely scanning for ore, there was NO titanium deposits! Wow! And yes, I scanned at full range

Are you sure?
Can you send us you save file? https://discord.gg/the-crust

Right now there are 1-2 mandatory cores generated in a ring around the elevator, and a few more random ones. try looking all around

No, I was "a little angry" at the time. Sorry

Long range scans don't always show. Need short wide scans and then possible narrow scans when a smokey object shows without identifying. At start.

yup i did that too, just didn't mention it. I understand it's early release. Love the game!!!!

What I do when I can't find it right near at start is I just build one production, and mine what is near with drones. just one or two. then I change product back and forth to build what is needed to keep me going until I can find that resource type. For me is mostly silicon. So set factory to produce silicon, then metal, then alum, then titan, then silicon. When drones mine a resource node, they get a little of everything and lot of whatever the node is.

I only play Sandbox, so is no rush. I can take my time. If it takes me 30 minutes longer to get out of gate is not a problem.

Hope this helps
Cheers

Also, you can convert drones to miners and use a multi-regolith and just feed that as a stopgap measure. Plus, it helps uncover the deposits.

Hi,
Same here.. I've been spending the last hour looking for Titanium, with 3 sensors, and no deposits.
Plenty of Si, plenty of Iron, but no Titanium...

Great game however!

Ahh, the downside to random placements.

When you start a new game, its now ...funny. I must start my last game 3 times before I have all i need in the beginning. One Game there was only the start ore with Silizium and no other to find, then no Tritanium. The game i play now ... there is Aluminium very rare but iron and ice is everywhere.

sorry for my bad english, but my school english is now 38 years old
It's aluminum for me. Scanned (and excavated) in a wide radius around the elevator without finding any of that particular resource.

That's exactly how I play as well. I love the game and understand it has some bugs....that's no problem. But I start out just like Almasty. I play to relax and I sometimes grind on purpose. I build up basic resources that way. And yeah it takes a lot of time. I also spend a huge amount of time excavating a large area to work in.

I find that if I try and start building up early, I never have enough materials. And if you research the auto repair function early it'll eat up resources quickly. That needs to be tamed down a bit. But that's just how I play in sandbox mode.

Certainly. I love the game and look forward to future updates.

if you research the multi processor, you will always get some titanium from regolith, just not in large amounts if the regolith is taken from extracted regolith from iron deposits for example...
