How to get research points without tender license?

So I was working my way up to get everything unlocked but did not have the green research yet. As I was getting ready for contracts to start on getting points I ran out of everything. How do I still gain points so I can get a tender license?

You can go to the Contracts tab and locate the outside labs tab. In that tab you can pay for research points. Or, you can do missions on the surface of the moon to get the orange (need resources) or green (get resources) boxes.

Ah thats where that menu is! I thought that was the tender system. Thanks!

let your rover explore the moon , it will not yield much but you get a few points that way

Don't forget that you need to press the 'Research' button in Rover's interface to start generating research points.
