Where is the MDR?

I have the mission to repair the MDR. I have found the last location it was seen but for the life of me i can't find the damn thing.

Is the idea to search around that point or should this be appearing as an expedition?

It's basically an expedition. You need to send your scout to investigate it, then you will need to transport some supplies iirc.
