How to collect Mined Resources from the MDR?

My MDR is full, but I'm uncertain how to recover the Mined Resources. Do I need to send it back to my Base or can I send the Cargo Truck to get a portion of what the MDR has mined?

If I need to send it back to my Base, will it offload similarly to the Cargo Truck in that it leaves a Pile of the Resources, or do I need to unload it at the Cargo Dock or some other facility?

First you must have a Cargo Dock, and a Cargo Truck that can be dedicated to the MDR.

To begin, make sure the Cargo Truck setting (the one on the left) is on Auto, and not manual. Then send your Cargo truck off base. Once the cargo Truck is off base click on it. Finally, after the Cargo Truck is highlighted, right click on the MDR that you want it to service, and select "pick up resources". The Cargo Truck will then continue to move between the MDR picking up resources, and dropping them off at the Cargo Dock.
