Issues Using the MDR

I have a newly-refurbished MDR and two Scout Rovers scanning like crazy. But nothing ever comes up as a resource on the map after the scans. I see points of interest to investigate, but no resources. Clicking on the MDR itself only gives me options to move, but not to mine anything.

On the bottom right of the screen when you are on the surface, you will see icons you can select for the different resources. If you pick one, let's say silicon, then the area you have scanned will show the concentration of silicon that is there. Alternatively, you can right click the moon map (as long as no vehicle is selected) and it will say filters and you can pick a type there to show it.

Ah, thank you. I got the Filters notification a couple of times but it was through mis-clicking. I've had this great beast of a crawler sitting around my base doing nothing forever. Thanks.
