Connecting Extractors to the network?? How??

Hi all,

I feel like I'm missing something incredibly stupid. I'm on the mission "The Aftermath of the Disaster", and I'm supposed to connect the two extractors to the network. I've connected power wires to both of them, but they just sit there and do nothing. What am I doing wrong??

Did you connect those wires to the elevator to complete the chain? Did any power poles that were made along the way get finished building? Do you have enough power in both battery charge and battery output?
