Using extractors efficiently
I just realized that when an extractor goes down on top of regolith, there is a mouse-over report of what is predominant. Focus the regolith into the refinery that focuses on THAT predominant element, and production skyrockets. I know, for some of you it's like I'm saying, "I just discovered the sky is BLUE!!!" But the player isn't informed. I'm writing this here to help other newbies like me.

Keep it up. This game is poorly documented if at all.

Is the multi regolith refinery worse?

Yes. A silicon refinery processing silicon rich regolith is more efficient.

Multi-regolith refineries are superior to the lower tech typed ones, they convert all the different percentages of ore into ore instead of slag, so instead of 50% slag/ore they produce 80% ore and 20% slag, they process much quicker too, so they can take the input of 5-6 extractors (feed it all into a bulk storage which leads into the refinery). They can further be upgraded until they process 600 ore a second, equivalent of a tier 5 conveyor belt, or about 20 extractors worth. Highly recommended.

600 ore per second? I thought it maxed out at 240?
