Is laser gun end game?
There is no possible way to build the laser gun. Is it end game is it isn't built?

playing the story right now makes no sense. its broken and likely not finished. I cant see anyone who is not ready for this mission to be able to finish it, especially when drones will ignore any kind of priority command and just do what they want AND colonist will just die all the time no matter how much you try to stop them.

I just finish part one. Part 2 I'd huge jump with my tech is not ready.
Let see if I can catch up.

to be fair, I believe you pay them like 90 credits a month, and they can't really complain or leave, because they are on the moon. Where are they going to go? Death is the only way out.

The amount of resources needed for even the first stage is too much without drone logistics. I've tried sending the first 3000 steel and the drones kept loading the truck for the next 10 days, ignoring everything else, even if set to low prio...

Short answer: NO, the story is NOT over.
I've finished it and it continues with missions, research, etc.

The laser gun (7 Parts) was a lot of hard work.
Especially the logistics. But enough time to solve it.

You can buy parts that you don't yet produce yourself. So it's not a problem.
And there are no delivery times or bottlenecks (like in Solargene, for example). Unfortunately. That makes it too easy.

I think his question was, does the game end when you can't finish it in time? Since everyone on Earth would die, probably leaving you with no market or contracts.

You can send the material in small batches instead of all at once...but then it bugs out and doesn't progress further.

Which calls for a colinist hiring rework.

I've added a belt and the drones still brought materials, even as the belt also did

Just finished the mission (all 7 parts) - after that you will be congratulated on saving the Earth... and... that's it. New quests do not appear, but the game does not end. You can just keep playing like in the sandbox mode.

P.S. But the timer (with a countdown of days) does not disappear. I have about 300 days left - maybe something will happen after that, but I doubt it. Most likely, new quests will be added later.

That's exactly how it is.
We finished with the laser cannon too early :)

I just completed this task and reset the countdown to zero. There is nothing else after that, so this task is the last one. After completing it, you can play it as you like.

This means that any hope of further challenges dies.
But then it gets boring :/
Unlike Solargene, you are not challenged in any other way.

you did get yourself 25-40 colonists to get it done in time?
T A U R U S Jul 20, 2024 @ 6:46am
15 colonists, drones and average production line.
Products that I did not produce were purchased.
