What am i doing wrong with the TwinSteer?
Every dude on internet says: "When you go to snowy regions, get the twin steer and AWD and big engine and you are fine"

Got that and i can do no single mission with this crappy crap truck... it stucks on every little deep snow and only the winch gets it out..... and the fuel, it need 24 litres per minut in the snow, i have to take a fuel tank with me to do missions...

is it all because of the chain tires? i need them on icy roads, its crazy without it in imandra warehouse to kovd island and in amur, oh holy... i wish i used the fleetstar im sure that would be better than that

Chained tires are bad. They have worse stats than their non chained counterparts with the only benefit being not slipping, which is something that I personally find too situational to be worth it. If you don't absolutely need them, don't use them.

Until recently the Twinsteer was the single best 4 slot carrier in the game. The biggest engine is a monster and goes well with the fuel capacity and the AWD allows you to straight up SKIP some mudtraps.
About your fuel issue, good management of the high gear and the AWD can carry you much further than you think
Do you not have access to the snowrunner gearbox? It's not really to be mean, but it's obvious that you get stuck easily without diff lock
And this part of the map is just bad for any trucks but the most broken, it's no surprise that you're struggling here haha
The Twinsteer gets a suspension lift, and with that enormous wheels and it gets AWD.

With those 2 upgrades it cannot practically get stuck in mud or snow. But that suspension lift which greatly elevates it's center of gravity makes it roll over even easier then it already did.

The fuel..yes that is a severe handicap. You could consider using a weaker engine in it, you are under no obligation to always use the most powerful one, especially not if they are locomotive size....

Fully upgraded, the Twinsteer is pretty capable. But, it can only be used on roads that won't instantly tip it over.
Tow it with the Tatarin - works for me.
it were the tires, lol with ohd II the speed is doubled and with the offroad gearbox the fuel consumption is nearly halfed... uff!

it seems he doesent belong to the dumpyard
Now you just have to tame it so it doesn't flip and you get a great truck!
My favorite, and it made some parts of the game so easy I had to stop using it lol

Get this one and double stack or drive in convoy with two trucks (attach the second one by winch). With two trucks you have also a backup with you to rescue the main truck 😁 of you ever manage to tip the zig over...

Twinsteer + AWD + big MUDtires + highgear = beast truck!
If I have to carry 4 slots of cargo it's by far the ebst truck! It's fast, it's strong and it doesn't give a sh** about a bit of mud!

I assume you're all talking about the WS Twinsteer, as apposed to the Paystar Twinsteer?
The Paystar TS doesn't do 4-slot, but with the OHD1 double tires, I've found it almost unflippable, and it can attach trailers (and a crane) unlike the WS Twinsteer. Preposterous fuel consumption, but hey.
Admittedly, fair bit smaller tires, so doesn't trample the mud as well as the WS, but feels far more stable everywhere else.

imo the obscene fuel consumption makes it very not worth it for routes that are not easy to refuel. You're better using a standard truck with a 5 slot semitrailer
But that is just how I feel about it!
