Thanks for the tips guys, I wish the game would let us know that the bridges can be fixed. :-(
I don't think the largest bridge where the ship crashed in can be repaired though, haven't noticed any mission for it but i din't do the local mission picking up cargo there yet.
If that bridge remains destroyed, it is a bit of a hassle as then there is no easy or quick way to the fuel station. I solved that for now going over the thin ice with a fuel semi trailer and pulling that back to the garage...but that is a 20 minute effort per emptied fuel trailer...
But even then....who says it must be quick and easy ? I am already happy you can repair most bridges so a tarmac route can exist reaching well into the other map from the garage. Quite a distance.

Open diff highway trucks with a high range gearbox can be very speedy and yet crash free with ice chain tires on the ice roads, while trucks that excel in off road driving in deep snow with mud tires don't have to slip&slide over ice roads with cargo. You just change trucks for that semi trailer locally where it is needed.
