Which one is the better? (Azov Atom vs Azov 7)
Just like the title says. Which one is the better? I have already both one but i don't sure which one is the better.

In all other regards the Atom is equal or slightly better.

I rarely use the Azov "7" despite it's low cabin/bumper does not hit the ground for ridiculous amounts of damage for years anymore. I still remember that and it stuck.

In this game it is a very unrealistic "off road" vehicle as it is clearly a mobile crane base that has 10 wheels to distribute the weight of the crane on (flat) soft soil construction yards. It also has unlikely economic fuel consumption with permanent diff lock and AWD that would IRL cause very high parasitic drag resistance on the engine.

But the fact the 10 wide mud tire wheels are not OP in the game comes from being a mobile crane that is so low - even in raised air suspension mode - it drags it's vehicle underside through deep mud and snow, and it is a long vehicle. So it will disappoint when using it in the deepest soft muck, its low cabin acting like a plow as well.

Where you need stability and large capacity the Azov "7" is still a good choice, but succeeded by many other trucks by now.

Azov Atom

Pros

Many frame addons to install.
Can tow trailers with its unique sideboard bed.
Can tow trailers with IM50 crane + long flatbed.
IM50 manipulator compatible with a lot of frame addons.
Supports the LP-4 Log lifter crane and short logging module combo.
Can carry 150 repair parts and 120L of fuel with trunk repair supplies.
Huge cabin view from first person.

Cons

Slow speed similarly to its competitor, the Azov 64131.
Cannot install IM50 manipulator crane with its unique sideboard bed, though it can with the long flatbed.
Large turning radius.
Very tippy due to high gravity center.

Azov 7

Pros

Number and size of tires gives it excellent stability and traction, especially in mud and snow.
Excellent turning radius due to multiple steering axles.
Decent size fuel tank and good fuel economy.
Can support many add-ons including the seismic vibrator.
Long truck provides enough space for spare tires and combined crane and flatbed/sideboard.
Can be bought for a low price in the store.
It can have a 2 slot bed with crane and trailer or a 3 slot bed without crane and trailer.
Really good stability.

Cons

Low ride height can cause the vehicle to drag in mud.
Bumper can still occasionally hit obstacles and stop the truck.
Can still have issues climbing steeper hills and bigger pits, since bumper issue isn't completely gone
Low maximum speed.
Few upgrades.
A lot of the newer trucks simply replace the older ones in function, or do pretty much the same thing without being much better other then being more fuel efficient and being able to carry a roof rack.

I am of the opinion in some patch they should roof racks to older trucks too.....roof racks are as old as trucks are, the older ones should have them too.

Great explanations. Nice comparison. So which one would you prefer?

This is one of my problems with Snowrunner. For example, the 5600ts Paystar is a great vehicle, but that fuel problem is on another level. It would be great if it had a roof rack and could store spare fuel inside the vehicle.

Also, most of the trailers in the game do not have additional equipment slots. In fact, there should be additional equipment slots. The new ones do, but some of the older trailers should have had them.

Also, vehicles like the Zikz 605R should have options such as a self-loading crane, a spare tire on the top shelf, and snow tires.

Unfortunately, the Snowrunner developers are very lacking in some areas. I wish they would fix these.

I never drove either berk so I dunno, those explanations are from the wiki not my words lol

This is a great explanation. Thank you.
