Trucks keep disappearing in multiplayer

I'm new to this game, got it with a friend and started playing co-op.

For some reason, we seem to be stealing trucks from each other? His and mine both keep disappearing from our garages. He lost his Fleetmax, I lost the Chevy, neither of us can figure out where they went in the map or in the garage.

What is going on here? Why does joining multiplayer sessions cause us to lose vehicles all the time?

Did you happen to play with other people in different regions and use your trucks there? Also, did you check that the trucks were retained instead of parked inside the garage? If they are parked inside a garage, they stay in the specific garage where they were parked. The Retain option makes them available for use from any garage in any region.

If you checked the previous, I'd like to ask you to enter any garage, then press the button to open your player menu, then go to the trucks tab that you can see there, and see if you can get a report on the locations of your missing trucks. If it says "Storage", then the truck in question is retained; if it says something else, then that's the name of the region here you will find them.

This isn't normal game behavior. It has never happened to me in over 1000 hours and almost all that time is multiplayer. Only mod trucks are supposed to behave in this manner, if you deactivate the mods that they are related to.

By default to open detailed player menu you need to press F4.
For some weird reason game never explain this.
