Keep leveling up until you unlock off-road tires. That really opens the maps up.
Only then do missions that require hauling stuff or vehicle rescue missions and then you can start contracts.
Plenty to do and there is a variety to help stave off boredom, changing maps also helps against boredom
I take this opportunity to reply = I think game hours do not show how skillful or knowledgeable a snowrunner is, it is how much passion you give to the game.
I once saw a person with 1500 hours who regarded rear wheel drive trucks as useless and disposable (because he didn't know how to use them). He went into an outrage about the W990 and how he wanted his money back because it was rear-wheel drive. Made me laugh real good.
I also saw a person once in Black River who picked a GMC 9500 to match the same truck I was using (I was also using it with all-terrain tires). Turns out, they couldn't get it to work even with offroad tires, and they ended up swapping to a Mastodon. I ended up doing like 3 times more deliveries than the Mastodon guy, with my tutorial truck fitted with all-terrain tires, in the same amount of time.
I also once spotted someone who only used things like Dan and Zikz and the Tatarin, and after that person jumped into the same CK1500 I was using, said person couldn't get it across obstacles that I'd already raced it past. The person was spinning the wheels too fast in Automatic and without the front axle engaged.
I've seen a bunch of people with more than 500 hours, who get stuck because they didn't engage AWD or difflocks, in trucks that had said mods installed and fully functional. I facepalmed real bad when I saw a guy getting a Brigadier that I owned, stuck in the dirt climb from the Black River garage to the fuel station. And the truck had everything it needed to get through without winching, it's just that the driver wasn't using any of the equipment, and had to ask somebody else in an ANK to pull him.
Hope your experience and stories will motivate and inspire all the new and also many many many older players.
(Just to let readers and viewers know that i do not know Rrager personally or privately)
I don't think anyone was wondering about that.
And by doing so, i am encouraging more acquaintances and non-relationship gamers to share the passion about the game.
Unlike some people whom goes around causing trouble, and defame other players by using multiple accounts/ IDs to sneak on others. ROFL
