Repair the truck

I'm fairly new to Snowrunner, currently in between Black River & Smithville. I did the 'repair the truck' task without activating it (whoops). Truck fully repaired, but of course I got no rewards for it!. It still appears on the task list, the truck is still marked on the map, but if I drive down there, it's gone. Is there any solution to this pleae, or do I just put it down to experience and ignore it? Thanks in advance

Most of the time you can quite happily repair a target before you even get the mission, no problems. I'm often guilty of dragging wrecks back to the garage (hey, finders keepers right?) only to realise it needed to go in the other direction. Whoops.

Restarting it might be the easiest option, but before you try that I'd restart the game or switch maps. It might reappear where it's supposed to be on loading the map back in.

Thanks guys - I tried both of those and it's stuck as was. Don't want to restart the game - made too much painful progress haha!

restartung the game shouldn't be a problem as it saves automatically and no progress should be lost.

In order to solve your problem on the other hand you dont need to restart the game, but only the task. By doing so the damaged truck should respawn immediatelly.

Sorry about the confusion - while deleting your save and making a whole new game would work, that really is the sledgehammer approach and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless the situation was absolutely dire.

I meant... just shutting down and restarting Snowrunner. Quite often if it is glitching out a bit this will calm it down. "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" :)

My line of thinking is you perhaps already towed it off to somewhere without the mission active and forgot about it ?

The vehicle then does not have to be at the location where the mission starts, but you should be able to see it on the map when the mission is activated by a looking glass symbol on it and a destination for it.

If the mission is glitched you should restart it. The vehicle ( or cargo, or trailer ) is then back to where they were at mission start.

Trouble is, none of them work! I have restarted the game - the task appears, the truck is apparently in the original spot, though the service trailer has gone. When I failed to complete the task, I went back down to check it out. The truck had gone, but the service trailer was still there, so I towed it back and sold it. It's a tough place to get to, so I haven't been back down there just yet. Mind you, now I have the Azov truck, that's not so much of and issue lol. I may restart the task (again) and go back down towing a service truck. There are plenty of other earners around though. Thanks guys

Update - put those insane mud tyres on the ANK38 and towed the service trailer down - the truck WAS there so I repaired it and got the rewards!! Towed the trailer back to the garage and got there with 2 litres of fuel left! Phew! Thanks again for the help, sorted.
