The mod is 'WS 4964 White Tuning'. I have an awfully lotsa fun with. It's also good for contests. Only thing is it likes to flip if you're going too quick.
If you're on a budget, the GMC 9500 that you get for free can also do this. Just don't install a raised suspension on it unless you're willing to be extra careful when turning at high speeds or dealing with sideways tilt. It can take bigger wheels without a raised suspension, too. It's not as wide as the previously mentioned truck, but it'll still do the job.
The CAT truck from the free Anniversary Pack has a pusher axle that you can engage for extra stability. I mentioned it despite being DLC since it's free. I normally use this truck for the logging cranes since those can significantly raise the position of the center of mass.
If you want extra stability for any truck and you happen to have the JAT tire pack, the JAT ATMD2 all-terrain tires are the widest non-mud tire that you can install (they can provide equivalent or greater width than some mud tires, depending on the case). These further enhance your stability.
If you want a fast truck, just set it up with a Highway gearbox; any truck can be made decently fast as long as this gearbox (or one of its name variants) is available for that model.
While I would generally agree, trucks with longer frames and usually front-heavy truck designs (particularly the ones with extra-wide front wheels) tend to take a lesser hit to the overall balance when the crane is mounted. Trucks with dually rear wheel options also remain more stable when loaded, than trucks with single wheel configurations. The same is valid for trucks with pusher axles, which significantly improve the lateral rollover resistance. This is also why I brought up the JAT ATMD2 tires, which provide a noticeable improvement to stability on any truck that can accept them.
One might also arguably say that trucks that allow for trailers to be coupled while a bed and crane are installed, are better suited for this on account of being less restrictive; there's a bunch of trucks that disallow the coupling of trailers after the crane has been installed.
This truck is one of my go-to haulers. It will also kick the crap out the other trucks on the race track in Tennesee.
Is the only truck that I was able to jump over to that house in Wisconsin without losing the cargo.
If you have the kola dlc, the gmc 9500 is a good truck with the awd.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but the fleetstar has never actually failed me.
alot of players complain about this truck being slow, but why does that matter? You need to be on low gear with diff lock anyway for most places

I've used a Royal BM17 in most places by now, and it doesn't have locking diffs. Still got the job done.
You can usually drive in High Gear as long as you have a decent power-to-weight ratio and aren't driving inside water or intermediate-to-deep mud or snow. And as long as you optimized your choice of tires for the application.
just park fuel trailers at random points along the main roads, I do this all the time when I setup each map before doing the missions (especially ones that don't have a fuel station), so I can just slow down and refuel as needed
I hate to see such things as players can make use of a game flaw that not registers weight until you fasten it, but each player is free do play as they like...
But in this case this particular truck could probably take this easily :-))
