Just to add to this, since perhaps I could point you in the direction you were headed:

An EarthRoamer LTi is built upon a Ford F-550 crew cab. There's a company called Elevation Off Grid that buys the same base truck and modifies it with a LiquidSpring suspension and a lot of other features, and usually they convert those into pickup trucks. And there is a mod for this.

Look up a mod called "Elevation Off Grid F-550" by JohnJohnHotRod and you'll be getting the same base truck upon which an EarthRoamer is built, but outfitted with your choice from a selection of pickup beds. It even comes with the Ford emblem on the truck (this was deleted from the in-game EarthRoamers).

Now, if you don't want to use mods, then I'd like to point you at either the Loadstar, or the F-750, or the Kodiak.

- The Loadstar can be set up either with a pickup bed or a repair addon.

- The F-750 can be set up with a pickup bed, a pickup bed with overhead cargo rails (you get more supplies but it weighs more and raises your center of gravity), or it can be a 1-unit cargo tray.

- The Kodiak can take semi-trailer couplings, repair addons and 2-unit cargo beds on the frame, and you could easily load and secure a scout fuel trailer on one of these if you want to turn it into a long range truck or a scout truck.

The Loadstar and the Kodiak come with engines that offer more torque than the EarthRoamer engines. The F-750 can be made to provide a comparable output but only with its special V10 engine (you don't need that engine if you only want to use it for reconnaissance though).

The licencing for these EarthRoamer vehicles is for the modified Ford and GM trucks as they are they are presented in the game, which is licenced and branded "EarthRoamer" products.

To have a truck with bed, the licencing would also need to be done with the truck manufacturer. This is not required for the separate "EarthRoamer" brand.

There is an issue with Ford licencing in certain countries that make further Ford licencing unlikely.

Just WAW.
I too would wish the Earthroamers could remove their RV build and become large pickup 1 slot cargo trucks, they would be MUCH more capable and useful vehicles in game.

But i have visited the site of Earthroamer and know this RV build is a one way conversion, and not some modular thing you can just dismount. So i can accept they are a sort of awkward scouts in game and serve no other purpose.

IRL for RV purposes it is the wildest thing you can get of course, short of a larger off road real truck. Albeit the price of them is truly staggering.

But driving them in game never feels right as every second i want to lose the RV high build even if they would not get a 1 slot cargo capacity and only tow scout trailers. They are relatively good at that as they are with RV build and all.

I am not really a fan of the old F-750 or Loadstar, nor the roll over happy Kodiak. ( basically a deep snow vehicle to perform well ) A base modern Ford F-550 or Chevolet Silverado 6500HD would be so much more powerful and capable :-)
