did they finally add progression for all players in coop?
we stopped playing years ago when we discovered that only the host unlocks new vehicle. we only like playing the game in mp but when only one player benefits from it there is no use. did they change it?

I have been playing with a friend the past 2 days and despite being a client, I have several new vehicles unlocked.

It is the second time you make this post (and I seem to recall the phrasing is almost identical, too) and the second time I have to explain to you that you don't know what you're talking about. Multiplayer has never been as you described. If one person discovers or unlocks one truck or upgrade, that truck or upgrade immediately becomes unlocked for purchase by everybody else in the match.

Would you kindly start paying attention to the replies for the clone threads that you keep opening, instead of making repeated threads to explain that you and all your friends were simultaneously incapable of deducing that everybody does actually get the trucks and upgrades unlocked, and that you're prone to posting repeated false statements out of ignorance? And if you're just going to keep ignoring the replies, then why do you even bother opening new threads about the same thing?

that is not the case tho, it was only unlocked for the host. other players would have to do the same mission to unlock the vehicle for their game.

it was the reason we stopped playing because it was a chore to replay everything only to unlock the vehicles for their game. my question was if they changed that system? alot of ppl complained about it back then

No, it still works as intended
Doing other peoples games saves making new game when you reach done.
Im a legit 35 millionaire. Plus own over 400 vehicles.
In 1 save.
You may not unlock a vehicle for free but you can always judt go into store and buy it after a few contracts done on a friends game. The money shares evenly weather your on task or on another.
Hell my kiddo has over 100 trucks. Is in the 10 mills and is still in Michigan map.
Now im not sure if its a glitch
On his maps. The towers are black rings but the rest of maps have grey area equal to all of his searches in other maps.
Ive seen same thing going into new player maps.
All is visible grey area. Only blacked area is observation towers.
and
In season 14 and 15 maps the jobs were already labeled like i discovered them already.

on the third map i believe, the snow map we had this quest to recover a humvee. i did it and even tho my coop partner helped me on that quest it only got unlocked for me. maybe he can buy the humvee from the store now but he would be always short on money because of that. we only play the game together because its boring in singleplayer and because the game doesnt reward coop evenly or did it back then we stopped playing entirely. we wanted to play it together and not do everything 2 times on repeat

Well hes not really short any money if you guys go through his playthrough also.
These maps can take weeks solo.
After your 100% im sure he will want it also.
The content for this game is not hours. Its months. if anyone says they can complete all seasons at 100% in under 3 months. Id call them a liar.

and thats the problem its extremely time consuming to unlock something so yea i guess we will pass if we have to unlock things for every coop player or at least 1 time and then do chores to earn enough money so coop partners can buy the same vehicle that the host did unlock via a mission. it sucks and really takes out the fun for us. because it takes so much time unlocks should work for every coop partner that is using the same savegame to play on.

OP Seems to have their mind made up but I feel like I need to address this else new players get the wrong idea. The following is in relation to Normal and the first 3 maps, which newer players are the most likely to play.

1. It's not hard to make money. The more people you have the faster you'll make it as people can work on multiple contracts at a time.
2. The trucks aren't expensive. Especially on the beginning maps. You'll rarely personally be using more than one or two vehicles.
3. You get full value on items you sell back to the shop. This makes it extremely easy to find a vehicle you like and customize it to your preferences.
4. Multiplayer allows people to do different roles, thus needing different vehicles. Very rarely are people in the same vehicle as different vehicles perform better/worse depending on the task and the route. Some missions there's only one thing to haul so there's not a way for multiple people to do that at the same time. That means very rarely are more than one person in that "extremely time consuming to unlock" vehicle.
5. If you're playing multiplayer with friends then you can alternate who hosts. This changes who unlocks the vehicles for free. Combined with multiple roles(4), the speed of doing contracts(1), then it's not a huge deal to redo maps while changing up what you did so that you get a fresh experience.
6. You can share vehicles. That "extremely time consuming to unlock" vehicle, if you're not using it then you can just spawn it in and let other people use it. See 2 and 4.
