Service trailer, why does it need to be attached?
With fuel trailers everyone can grab fuel even if not attached to a truck, but the service one needs to be attached to a truck, what's the logic behind that?

I think they did it this way to stop scout vehicles from getting repair parts from service trailer,s that can make the game easier

I would have loved to use those to refill my scouts with parts and take where I need to repair a truck but can't

the game doesn't have a scout service trailer option either, only a scout fuel trailer thats further proof of this

In the original Spintires and MudRunner, both repair and fuel trailers had to be attached to a truck to use them. It was a nice surprise to see that was no longer the case when I pulled up to a fuel trailer and was able to refuel.

I don't see any logical reason you would not be able to use service trailers without them having to be attached to a truck. I doubt it has anything to do with making the game harder, otherwise it would also be like that for fuel trailers. I need to refuel way more often than I do repairs. Also, refueling from vehicle to vehicle makes things so much easier.

If they really wanted to make things harder (and more realistic), fuel trailers (and vehicles) would either have diesel or gasoline in them, and you would have to make sure to put the right fuel in the right vehicles or you destroy your engine.
