Request to the Devs, F750 Scout Trailers

Devs, you've proven it possible to swap a vehicle between truck and scout trailers. Please, add this capability to the F750. It should be able to. It's a scout, it operates and looks amazing with the offroad scout trailer. Let it be the American counterpart to the nordic 6x6 beast. You don't even need to remodel anything, the US has ring hitches that double as ball hitches. Please just let us do this.

I know there are mods for it, but for those of us working our way through a vanilla play through this would change so much. My friend and I have so many hours, have bought all your DLCs and Seasons. Just throw us a bone this one time?

Hey, I'd just like to point this out.

The Loadstar 1700 can do scout trailers. It also features a heavy duty truck engine (same engine options as the Fleetstar 2070) instead of a scout engine, and it has the mass to properly handle cargo loads. You also get an option for a pickup bed with supplies.

But the F750 can carry so much supplies that it doesn't really need trailers

The F-750 with a single point bed, crane, and a 2 point cargo trailer is what we're looking at. It doesn't need supply trailers, you are correct. But as a light transport vehicle it's fantastic.

Start up the game, there is a mod browser in main menu.

I'm sure the mod you need already exists.

You can do that yourself by editing the ford 750 .xml file located inside the initial.pak file.
Add the following lines:

That way you can choose between two types of hinch, one for truck trailers and other for scout trailers. Like the Scout from the Scandinavia DLC.

Its much easier just add "ScautTrailer" to trailer socket line and it would work fine

Yes, you can do that as well, but the trailer will look kinda weird since the hinch is a little bit too high.
