Multiplayer progress system

Guys, it's been a while since I've been playing this game and now my friend is going to buy a game. I wonder if there is any changes in co-op progress system? Or still only host of the server get money and upgrades from the contracts?

Everyone gets Upgrades Unlocked, Vehicles Unlocked and everyone gets Money earned from Contracts/Tasks, it has always been that way.

The only thing the Guests do not get is their Map Progress/opened up, only the Host gets Map changes.
