Seismic module not working

None of the trucks I equip the seismic module on have the option to vibrate. I cannot go through any of the quarry tunnels to open the map because the game does not recognize that I have the module equipped. Is there a fix for this problem? I would really like to open the other maps in this region

You have to be within range of a point before even being given the option to use it. When there, I believe like the Radar you need to enable the seismic module through the "V" key menu and then you'll get a prompt to press "7" to use it.

It is not very intuitive.

This. At a distance of approx. 150 m to the point of interest a beeping signal starts, when you reach 20 m or so you can open the menu with "V" and start the scan with "7". The module has no operational function when you are too far away from the point.
