over a year and we still need to use workarounds for FFB because the devs suck lemons ;)
when you give a try comment over here to see if i helped you
my wheel works perfectly in any other game..
i really don't know what to do and the game support does not even answer
is your wheel the G920?
do you have logitech G hub installed and the driveres updated?
because in the other games it works fine and on this one i have to put it in direct in put and worked like a charm.
How do I enable directinput? I have the G920 too, and the steering is horrible. but not hot, nor even warm.
What app are you using? I have G-HUB and recently installed LGS, both installed, but LGS seems to have merged into G-HUB. at least it looks the same. I don't seem to have any manual settings other than basic sliders for pedals. I hate this new phone app looking interface. it seems non-configurable.
Thank you for your response.
I figured it out right after my post. At first it kept crashing the game when I selected the G920 wheel and put it in direct input mode. It didn't even close the menu. as soon as I selected direct input. crashola.
Then, I uninstalled all logitech software. of course it didn't recognize the wheel without the driver present.
I decided to use the LGS gaming software, and it showed up immediately in the game as having a , "Press A to Continue" and it took me to the main menu of the game.
I was stoked. But then, in-game, the steering was still stiff. I could get it to turn slightly with a lot of force (wheel is still at 900 degrees rotation)
I tried all the settings in the game menu to get the wheel to soften the turning, but it never got any better.
Maybe later I will try the newer G-HUB after I uninstall LGS, reboot PC, then install G-HUB?
Thanks again for your help.
The game runs fine as long as I don’t close the crash dump error box until I’ve finished playing and then it just closes Snowrunner. So it definitely looks like Logitech could well be the ones responsible for the G920 not working correctly in the game.
Maybe I can try again when I get home.
Do you use 3 pedals with your G920?
I am asking as I can not play the game with that combination (G920+3pedals): The reversing-bug occurs.
With which input device do you accelerate and brake and shift and clutch?
