There are "logitech legacy" and "directinput" settings that are somewhat generic and may require you to set up your buttons yourself. Shifters that are separate USB devices don't seem to be supported, unless they are listed above.

If you have problems with FFB auto-centering heavily on Logitech wheels (e.g. G920), switching the TYPE from "Logitech Legacy" to "DirectInput" may help.

A steering wheel range of 390° corresponds to the cockpit steering wheel animation in the game.

As for the Gearshift, I use a TH8A shifter which isn't picked up by the game, so I found program called Antimicro and it picks up the shifter. I assigned Low / Auto / Reverse, etc to the Numpad keys, then assigned those numbers to the proper spots on my shifter, it works really well actually and only took a minute.

Suggestion from JTT for unsupported shifters:

As long as its detected by AUTOHOTKEY, you can use the shifter to issue "keyboard commands". Changing gears works nice.

Anyone having problem with Thrustmaster wheels, disconnect shifter if you have one. The game wont detect the wheel if the shifter is also plugged in.

I recently upgraded my T3PA pedals to a set of Thrustmaster TLCM Pedals.

The T3PA pedals worked fine with the game, running through the weel base.
I can't however the TLCM pedals to register in the game through USB.

The cockpit view steering wheel animation uses 390° turning range. If you set your wheel to this range with your driver software, it matches up.

Heusinkveld Pedals arent recognised. Even Ubisoft and EA driving games can recognise them, shows how bad the control support for this game is.

They had an answer within half an hour of how to fix it. It is common enough that they recognized the issue based off my description of " Snowrunner does not recognize any input from the G29 but the G29 is recognized in other games as well in G Hub. "

I am not positive about manually shifting gears using the wheel working the way you wanted. When the wheel was working again I was frustrated with the game so went to play ATS with my new h-shifter. Before I stopped playing I was able to go between automatic, reverse, neutral, and low gear selection. I do not have the high gears or where you can manually shift between lower gears.

I found it funny the file is called "G29 F12019.reg so it think this problem happens with more than just Snowrunner. Mods please feel free to remove the link if you feel it is unsafe. Many trucks have a wheel range of 900°.
Is there a option or mod to change the range to 900° for all trucks?
If not, please make it possible.

One of many sad chapters of Snowrunner. I had a very hard time setting up my G25. To the point I refunded.

I use G29 with pedals and shifter and whilst the game is AUTO you can still map the gears to High+, Low, Low+, High, Auto, and Reverse - and in fairness more often than not I will use the shifter if I start to approach some difficult terrain but putting it into High+ and moving it between the Low ratio gears manually and back to auto etc when I am out of danger, I seem to use the gearstick fairly frequently as I rarely use AUTO as my main gear choice.

The wheel I find is the reason I enjoy the game so much as I feel more engaged with the actual game itself and the force feedback adds to that immersion, couple that with immersive mode and you have a pretty decent experience.

Also it's worth adding that with the pedals you can control the throttle response which is something you can't really do with a keyboard / mouse and less so with a controller but it makes a big difference as you can keep the trucks in certain gears but this method.

Is it perfect, no - the camera can be a pain at times using a wheel as you don't have the same level of dexterity that you do with the mouse, but I find it makes me a more cautious driver.
