Then there's the hack/workaround where you can carry unpacked logs in a sideboard trailer (which allows you to carry several loads of logs at one time, since you can put 6-9 logs or more in a trailer), and when you reach the destination, transfer 3 logs at a time to a log trailer, pack, unload, repeat.
Doing the same thing over and over again with no variation gets really boring really quickly. At least with other missions, the game asks you to move different loads along different routes. You might end up driving past the same spots many times, but it offers at least SOME kind of mental stimulation. The exact same trip over and over again causes my brain to shut down and look for other stimuli, meaning I'm barely even paying attention to the game.
I get that some people like that, in the "Euro Truck Simulator" sense, but this game HAS all the mechanics necessary to offer more compelling gameplay. Asking me to repeat a trip 6 times feels like an old-school MMO asking me to kill 50 of the same thing in the same area. Whatever fun there might have been the first few times doesn't last.
At that point, why not just download a straw man?
2. 6 auto loads = 6*3 = 18 manually loaded logs. You can put them the single sideboard semi-trailer using crane, then drive truck with this semi-trailer + truck with crane + medium log trailer to the unloading point, manually unload logs to the medium log trailer there and complete the order.
I hate it, but I do it anyway. Although, I usually tow a rig around so I can do two loads at a time, although it feels like it takes twice as long anyway. lol
You could, yes. Some of those missions require a LOOOT of trips, though. Amur had missions with 6 Medium Logs, for example. Unless you're very good at planning, you're going to run into issues.
