It has been my experience the only noticeable difference I find is when either extreme Rock Crawling, extreme Hill Climbing, or extreme Mud/Snow.
Here are the Stats for each tire:
Tire ------ Asphalt -- Dirt -- Mud/Snow
TM I ------ 0.5 ----- 2.4 -- 2.0
TM II ----- 0.5 ----- 2.0 -- 2.4
JAT MS I ---- 0.5 --- 2.7 -- 1.8
JAT MS II ---- 0.5 --- 2.4 -- 2.1
JAT MS III ---- 0.4 --- 2.1 -- 2.5
For Dirt and Asphalt use, there is no noticeable difference unless you are doing some extreme rock crawling or extremely steep trails.
Then I use JAT MS I, and they noticeably outperform the TM I and TM II in these circumstances.
For general purpose, where there is a mix of Dirt, and Mud/Snow terrain, I use the JAT MS III.
In extreme Mud/Snow, the JAT MS III outperforms the TM I and TM II.
