Pro for Forrester is the wider bed thus lower cog + crane but it drives slower than most others
Then there's the Azov 7. also a bit slow but it is fairly stable. Doesn't have a crane but can attach a log trailer for two loads and the slow speed and strong engine makes it useful for towing another log truck for extra loads.
Tayga 6455B can also attach a trailer, is pretty fast and in my experience have managed to stay upright even when I was sure it would tip over. Still requires some caution when driving tho.
If not using these you should go for a wider vehicle to be safe. That said when carefully driving all medium trucks that can have the medium log frame add on can transport medium logs, but some roll easier then others.
Do Not expect to go fast with logging in any truck btw, this isn't a race game anyway
also the medium log trailer is ♥♥♥♥, use the Aramatsu Forester and winch it behind you instead

Another vehicle with a trailer brings the logs loose and loads them onto the wood transporter at the destination. This then drops off the cargo and that's it.
Of course, it also works with long and short wood and the appropriate vehicles.
yep I did that until better logging trucks released for the game so not really needed anymore
With hard mode rules still the best method. I don't pay for loading and I don't drive 5 times.
then use a logging crane.... and take a different route each time ya deliver it, makes it more interesting, dont have to take the same exact path
I'm curious about you mentioning the word "tippy" because I always use the Pacific P12 for medium logging and I don't have that problem. Are you using the P12 with the stock wheels? They're not great. I'd strongly recommend a dual rear wheel setup, it provides vastly improved stability.
With engine upgrades and the equivalent of the offroad gearbox (I don't remember what they call it) on the P12, you also get pretty decent top speed.
