You can also run a sideboard bed and smaller crane together on some trucks
also if you want you can cheat with it and carry more then the truck is meant for, it really cuts down on trips for larger missions, saves on fuel too

This is true for the smaller cargo cranes too.
Still, the heaviest crane we have in game is still a pretty mediocre one, but these are frame add ones you can detach from the truck. I guess for heavier cranes the truck loses ability to carry anything else and factually become a self propelled crane rather then a truck.

thanks. but can the yellow one also carry heavier weight, or same as blue one?
Big cranes: Russian crane > Heavy crane > American crane
it depends on what you are lifting and lenth you have the boom set to, the more you have the boom out the less it will lift, the more you have the boom in the stronger it is, so for heavier items you will need to get as close to it as you can
Both of them can easily load a 2-sized cargo piece to the bed next to them, which is all that's required from a minicrane. So the fact that US crane is "stronger" is completely irrelevant, it's still plain worse because it weighs twice as much than the RU one.
But knowing the weight difference is certainly a variable to consider as the extra weight can be a liability.
