The 681 can fit the most powerful engine of all the mediums, the 2900TTA, trading blows with the heavy trucks yet being a much lighter vehicle and burning far less fuel. Very useful for dragging concrete or steel up steep slopes, but again will trip over rubble.
Used the HX520 in Ontario as a primary truck. Felt like it had a longer frame and poorer turning circle than the CATs so not quite as useful as a semi. Probably more suited to being a crane and bed truck.
Had it in Scandinavia as well to haul the film star trailer (with it's paint job it seemed the most appropriate for that role) and it dragged it up to the mountain top film set without any issues.
