Carrier Rocket Carrier mission.
I got to Urska and down by the ice and I flipped the trailer over, now I can't flip it back over?

I tried using both of the huge cranes to flip it over, but it only just drags it around.

Is there something I'm missing? Is there a trick to turning it over?

I only have year-1 DLC.

Rocket trailer is one of the heaviest objects in the game, it suppose to be extremely hard to deliver.
Unfortunately all Cranes in Snowrunner are weak. Best bet is to winch it with Ziks 605r, and good luck with it.
Alternatively you can ask someone to help you in Coop mode (one winching - second creating hard point, pushing / dragging...).
Last option - manual quest restart.

There's gotta be a better option than restarting mission.

I have no coop buddies. There is one, but he doesn't even really play it. plus he doesn't have amur.

Maybe it's just time to move on to a different game. This snowrunner just seems very anal-retentive.

Look for a hard edge or rock that stops the trailer from sliding, then try to tip it back on it's wheels by winching it on one of the points on the side.

I couldn't get winching to work. It would just not have enough power to flip it over. At least with the Zikz 605R.

However, I rammed the trailer axcross the map, upside down, then I got as far back as I could on open ice, and went forward to the trailer and reversed as hard as possible and it turnered over, but kept turning back upside down. After three more times and a little finesse, it landed upright for me!

Thanks for the advice fellas!

Now, hopefully I can get it to its destination. I may need a second ZikZ 605R to help get it the rest of the way there.

be warned that the 605r doesn't have snow tires, i had to use a different truck to get through some icy pavement areas temporary when i did that mission

This mission can be done with any TWO trucks.
Place 1 truck on one side facing rocket. Get second truck on other side. Connect them via winch. When you give forward command truck 2 will also push.
I used two 605's and two Kolobs recently. I bet 1 Mastadon can do it. Or the huge Azov flex body.

Actually, the 605R has snow tires. Mud and snow are treated the same in snowrunner.

But the 605R doesn't have chains, so it can't drive on ice very well. Although, all you need to do is get the 605R well off the side of the icy road, or against the guard rails, and there is enough snow to keep you moving slowly.

Normally, I use the 605R and Azov 7 with chains, and I can go most anywhere is a push pull configuration.

well i didn't do a push pull config, i was using the 605r alone and it didn't make it up the hill on the ice road before the map change, i used another truck with chain tires to pass that area, then wen't back to the 605r, it was only on that rocket mission i had to do this

I havn't tried that mission with jat tires dlc though, maybe the 605r alone can make it up that with that pack

Yeah, I actually did the rocket solo with the 605R, that 8-slot trailer is just too long and I had to abandoned the push truck. It just kept hanging up in the trees.

I did get the rocket finally, after tying 20+ times trying to flip the rocket trailer. So now I'm off to cosmodrome to the next stage for amur.

I feel your pain. Getting tall, top-heavy trailers to roll back onto their wheels is very annoying.

I wish that they would make more "grab points" toward the top of the trailers -- most of the points for winching seem to be below the center of mass, which is good when the trailer is upright, but works against you when you're trying to crane it back onto its wheels.

Also, the physics of "digging in" to the terrain seems to be modeled poorly. In the game, you can drag a giant, square, rolled-over trailer across mud, and it just slides like on ice without biting into the ground and rolling. I wish this would be tweaked a little bit.

Well as most have answered you, I will not touch on that part, but I will say for co-op:

It used to be that (UNLESS they changed it and ruined more of the game), you did not need a DLC as long as the host had it (at least the way it worked on the twitch streams I've jumped in on -- we've had players with base game (only first three regions) jump into the BC DLC). So you say your one buddy does not have Amur, but that does not matter, because if you have it, he can join your game to play it.

Granted he will not have any of the DLC trucks available, unless you buy one and he drives it on your game, but he will unlock everything when you do, so when he does get those DLCs, he will have access to the upgrades and trucks you guys unlocked TOGETHER.

Ah, that is good to know. I think he doesn't want to play as he may think he doesn't have the DLC needed. I will have to test it out when he logs in the next time.

Thanks for the advice.
