Fuel tank (1800L) addon = not interchangeable?
I do know for a fact that all addons are swappable between trucks (you only need to buy it once), as long as the trucks use the same exact addon and that you first have to uninstall it from the first truck so it can be available on the second truck free of charge.

So what im not understanding here is, why is it refusing me to move the same exact fuel tank addon to my other truck?

The tankers are literally the same, having the same design, same physical size, and same fuel capacity at 1800L. It's not one of those special addons that can only be used on one truck/brand. What gives?

The story is: I just bought a new Azov 5319 and wanted to use the fuel tanker addon that I already own and had on my DAN 96320 (yes, I made sure to uninstall the tanker from it), but it is still asking me to buy the tanker again after I wasted so much time driving around and moving trucks between maps for that cheap Michigan gas price! I had to give in and already paid the $5300 because I don't have time to wait for some insights. I also lost the $3500 fee for moving between maps that I didn't need to pay after all since it didn't let me use my free tanker. The damage is already done, $8800 down the drain. Im just here ranting about the game bugging on me (or if I missed something?) and robbing me of my very hard-earned cash. It's already unfair to make any profits on hard mode as it is.

Note there's a close off plate above the propshaft and also the position of that electrical box on the frame rail.
Now compare to one mounted on an Azov 7, also a long-boi with a central transfer box, albeit not elevated above the frame. This tank is shared with many other trucks:

The plate is gone and the box has moved forward.

Why the difference? I don't know. It's dumb. Same for the Burlak and Mack having their own cranes that look and are labelled identical to all others. It's annoying to be caught out by it but meh.

While you often can just slap on a frame add on on just any truck, some are limited to certain types of trucks. Without indication indeed.

It is the same for cranes : exactly the same type crane will sometimes not fit on all trucks of the same general Western or Soviet/Russian group. So here too, while you generally can move them around on all trucks of the same type, they will not fit on ALL trucks of a Western or Soviet/Russian group.

Yeah that is a bummer when you are low on cash. I don't think it is a bug, but has to do with the frame or layout of the specific truck. And i think the developer does not see use in providing people with a pull down list of all trucks it can be applied to. You just have to find out it does not fit, or does fit.

Are you sure this is not a bug or perhaps we're both missing something here? I've been playing for 550 hours and this is the first time this happened to me. I was always able to swap between the same matching parts across my trucks (Russian & American) with no issues.

Im not really low on cash or struggling with money in any way, I just hate it when something unfair like this happens for no apparent reason just because the game is going haywire or whoever designed it this way was plain competent. I have been upset since day 1 when I discovered that hard mode doesn't allow you to sell trailers....like that's what real life is supposed to work? NG+ mode came out way later so I didn't want to start all over. I've been living with that pain and anger inside of me since the game came out on Steam, lol.
