Can confirm - editing the save file like this worked for me!
Thanks for the fix, that was awesome work, enjoy your awards! Still waiting on Saber to do this...
Just to make it clear, I don't advocate consumers should have to spend money to fix a problem devs created in their product.
Yes, you should not need to spend any money to fix a game they broke, not at all. In this case we had a fix, I was going to buy that DLC anyway, and my main hauler was out of action and I needed it pronto. I probably overspent about $1-2 as I was going to wait a while on JAT, but I thought it was worth the cost to get the game running again. YMMV.
I don't want save editing.
Saber need to fix their bug.

I suspect this is why they're taking so long to deal with the problem: Why fix a problem if it's bringing in extra revenue? Further: From their point of view, *is* it really a problem if it's bringing in extra revenue? Or: From their point of view, fixing the problem will reduce their revenue, so why fix it?
With the last time they broke the game along with the update for new DLC, they at least were relatively quick to issue a rollback while they corrected their colossal mistake.
